Regenerative economy, digital accessibility, Fair Trade – they’re so much more than buzzwords to me. These values drive my professional practice: helping brands like yours shape a green digital transformation that creates global social justice. It’s high tide (quite literally!) that the global majority profits from the digitalization.
It’s fun working with Victoria because we don’t only work and work. We crack jokes and talk about life in general so she’s more of a friend and a mentor. Before our cooperation it was challenging to work alone because you want to make sure that what you’re online communication is done correctly so you will need someone to be your third eye.
– Elizabeth Alum Okumu – Marketing Associate from Digital Lions, Mentee since September 2021
Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, I spent my early childhood in Manila, Philippines. During those important years, I learned first-hand what inequality looks like. That experience has fueled my passion for social justice and global equity.
After studying business administration with a focus on online marketing, I was able to build a wealth of real-life experience. I trained my project management muscle, and planned and controlled campaigns. I drove strategic digital marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C, start-ups and international corporations – especially the US tech sector. In various projects I optimized web presences at the EU and US level, was responsible for strategic marketing and for the development of data-driven online marketing. Building and managing global teams and external agencies was part of my role as well. I optimized web presences for EU e-commerce and employer brands and launched their data-driven online marketing. I developed and led global teams and external agencies – until I realized that I don’t have to separate my personal views from my business values.
So, in 2021, I started my independent marketing consultancy and launched my own sustainable transformation. From the get-go, I vowed to donate part of my income, time, and experience to support grassroots organizations. One of these pro bono collaborations has me working with the incredible humans at Digital Lions, a Fair Trade agency based in Kenya.
Some of my favorite areas of digital marketing include:

You want support – not dependency.
That’s why I focus on sharing what I know. As we develop and implement your digital marketing strategy, you can lean on me and my network at every step of the way.
For green digital marketing to work, we need to take a holistic approach. The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a useful framework are my go-to framework because they allow us to take a 360-degree approach to your step-by-step sustainable transformation.
By dedicating myself exclusively to sustainability-oriented customers, I can contribute to all 17 goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. Because as you grow, so does your impact on the SDGs.
Plus, I donate around 2% of all proceeds to aid projects that contribute to the SDGs through my membership in B1G1. Follow my B1G1 Impact Report here.

Networking questions, partnerships or the start of a beautiful digital marketing project. I can’t wait to hear from you.
I volunteer as a mentor to the communication team at Digital Lions, the world’s first verified Fair Trade digital agency. In practical terms, this means that I advise and support Elizabeth Alum and the team as they promote their agency on social media and online. I’m grateful for the new experience and points of view gained through this relationship.
They equip young adults in marginalized, rural East African communities with digital skills and empower them to lead a life full of (digital) potential.
Depending on my time and demand, I also mentor some of the Tunapanda Institute team members. Here I advise the team on the implementation of online marketing strategies for the institute, but also for their international clients.
